1 – RSPEBT: SAFETY REGULATIONS FOR LOW VOLTAGE ELECTRICAL PRODUCTS
Mandatory certification, which can be requested by manufacturers, importers and distributors of electrical products. It applies mainly to all components of a low voltage electrical installation such as: (switches, cables, sockets, extensions, etc.).

2 – CERTIFICATIONS OF TOYS
The Uruguayan government requires that all toys that are manufactured, imported and marketed in the Uruguayan territory must have certification of their constructive characteristics and the design according to the UNITNM 300: 2004 series.
3 – TELECOMMUNICATIONS EQUIPMENT
To commercialize a radioelectric product in Uruguay, it will be necessary to obtain a certification and authorization of technical aptitude. This mandatory certification applies to any radio equipment, such as:
- Antennas
- Electronic Babysitter
- Cellular stations
- Alarm centrals
- Remote Controls
- Drones
- Wireless Microphones
- Parts of radiocommunication equipment
- Receivers
- Cell phones
- Transceiver equipment
- Transmitting equipment, etc.
4 – ENERGY EFFICIENCY
The Uruguayan government has established a series of specific standards to ensure compliance with regulations on energy efficiency. Currently energy efficiency labeling is mandatory for the following equipment:
- Compact Fluorescent Lamps
- Water Heaters
- Household refrigeration appliances
- Air conditioners
- Heat pumps for domestic use, among others.
